ABOUT US
We do more than just design buildings, we create total environments. Our designs coordinate the interior and exterior facets of each project, carefully incorporating the essential elements of function, aesthetics, and comfort. Working closely with each client throughout the design process and beyond, we define goals, overcome obstacles, formulate creative solutions, respond to changing needs, and bring the client’s vision to life.
OUR HISTORY
Our company was established by Paul F. Stewart in 1954. Mr. Stewart instilled personal integrity, attention to detail, and loyal client service into all of his projects. These values remain with the company to this day with principal architects Fred Bennett and Bob Holtzclaw.
OUR PROCESS
Our success and longevity are the direct result of the long-term relationships we forge with our clients, and our commitment to handling each project with integrity.
GETTING STARTED
The first steps in a design project are to meet with us, let us hear your project needs, and assist you in developing a design program. After the initial meeting, most projects progress through the following five phases:
- Schematic Design
- Design Development
- Construction Documents
- Bidding and Negotiation
- Construction Administration
We believe a stimulating sharing of ideas between client and architect will result in work that is exemplary.
CONSTRUCTION PROCESS
We can help you determine the best construction approach for your project; either design-build or design-bid-build.
DESIGN-BUILD
Under the design-build approach, one firm provides both architecture & engineering services and construction services under a single contract.
DESIGN-BID-BUILD
Under the the design-bid-build approach, an architect is commissioned to prepare drawings and specifications under a design services contract, and a contractor is engaged through competitive bidding or negotiation under a separate contract.
The end result of the whole process, a total environment that is masterfully designed and carefully crafted to the highest standards.
